How to wear a mask during COVID-19 Pandemic

Wearing a face mask helps to protect both you and others. It helps stop droplets spreading when someone speaks, laughs, coughs or sneezes. This includes someone who has Covid-19 but has no symptoms/ feels well/is unaware.

At COVID-19 Alert Level 4 and 3, you are strongly encouraged to wear a face covering when you are out and about, and since September 1st, you are legally required to, when you are a customer or employee at a business or service operating at level 3 or 4.
